Miguel is a 45 year old Mexican-American male who is seeking therapy because he is "depressed." Miguel has been married for about 25 years and has 6 children. He does not have any other family members who live in the area. He reported a 4th-grade level of education which was obtained while living in another state. Since then, he has worked numerous temporary jobs, including building construction, warehouse assembly line work, and landscaping. Miguel is frustrated and "depressed" because he cannot find a "good job" and has been met with resistance when attempting to receive services from the local state rehabilitation office. Miguel would like to "find a purpose" in his life because he feels like he is "just rotting away."
